As excitement builds ahead of the 2026 Hollywoodbets Durban July, one of the race day's fastest-growing lifestyle destinations is set to make its return.
Njalos at the Hollywoodbets Durban July is back at Greyville Racecourse for a second consecutive year, promising an even bigger celebration of music, fashion, food and South African culture.
Following a successful debut in 2025, the marquee returns with an expanded entertainment offering that organisers say is designed to elevate the race-day experience and cement Njalos as one of the most sought-after hospitality spaces during Durban July weekend.
The excitement around the marquee's return reached new heights in Soweto over the weekend, where organisers unveiled this year's entertainment lineup at a launch event attended by industry figures and guests.
Leading the musical programme are some of South Africa's biggest names, including Kabza De Small, Kwesta, DJ Bongz, DJ Stokie, Vetkoek vs Mahoota, DJ Sox, Leehleza, DJ Amanda and Uncool MC.
Adding a nostalgic touch to the festivities, legendary kwaito group Boom Shaka will also perform, bringing decades of South African music history to one of the country's biggest social events.
The diverse lineup will take guests through amapiano, house, hip hop and classic South African hits from the opening of the gates through to the late-night afterparty.
Beyond the music, organisers say guests can once again expect a premium hospitality experience, with gourmet dining, themed cocktails, VIP lounges, luxury seating and an official afterparty, alongside appearances by celebrities, media personalities and fashion influencers.
With the Hollywoodbets Durban July renowned as much for its fashion and social scene as it is for horse racing, Njalos is positioning itself as one of the marquee destinations where racegoers can experience the intersection of entertainment, luxury and contemporary South African culture.
