Metro FM Music Awards 2026, Best Male Artist of the Year, Ciza will perform at Boomtown Presented by Johnnie Walker, at the Hollywoodbets Durban July 2026

The Hollywoodbets Durban July is weeks away and organisers are turning up the heat with the lineups at the various marquees.
This year, Boomtown Presented by Johnnie Walker has curated a lineup that celebrates icons who shaped South African music and the stars defining its future for the Hollywoodbets Durban July 2026.
South African music legends TKZee, the Kwaito pioneers whose anthems helped define a generation, will be taking to the stage. Boomtown welcomes the group behind Shibobo, the iconic soundtrack that captured the spirit of South African football ahead of the 1998 FIFA World Cup and remains one of the country's most celebrated cultural moments.
Award-winning singer-songwriter Sjava, whose groundbreaking fusion of Hip-Hop, traditional Zulu music, and R&B earned him global acclaim, including a BET Award for Best International Act, will also take the stage to perform his hits.
Adding to the line-up are two artists representing both the foundation and future of South African music.
DJ Tira, widely regarded as the Godfather of Durban Music and one of the founding architects of Gqom, brings his unmistakable energy and influence to the Boomtown stage. Alongside him is Ciza, son of South African music royalty and one of the country's fastest-rising stars, recently recognised as Metro FM's Artist of the Year and Best Male Artist.
The line-up reflects Boomtown's commitment to celebrating both the pioneers who built the culture and the new generation taking it forward.
