Leading the headlines was Relebohile Mofokeng’s long-awaited move to Europe.
Belgian Pro League outfit Royale Union Saint-Gilloise officially confirmed the signing of the Bafana Bafana attacking midfielder from Orlando Pirates on a four-year contract on Thursday.
Pirates had already revealed earlier in the week that an agreement in principle had been reached before the FIFA World Cup, with the finalisation of personal terms and a medical delaying the official announcement.
