A man has been killed following a shooting on South Coast Road near Edwin Swales Drive in the Rossburgh area of Durban on Friday morning.
Garrith Jamieson of ALS Paramedics said when emergency teams arrived at the scene, paramedics were shown to a male who had sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was assessed on the scene however showed no signs of life and was declared deceased on the scene.
"At this stage, the events leading up to the shooting is unknown; however, police were in attendance and will be investigating further," he added.
Just after 11:20am on Thursday, ALS Paramedics responded to a shooting incident on Lotus Road near Foxglove Road in the Springtown area of Durban.

This comes just hours following another shooting in Lotus Road near Foxglove Road in the Springtown area of Durban, which claimed the life of a man.
According to Jamieson, the man believed to be in his 50s had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was assessed, but showed no signs of life and was declared deceased on the scene.
On Wednesday, a man was shot dead in Roosevelt Road in the Padfield Park area of Pinetown.
