While it is still unclear what caused the fire, they are investigating it as arson. Well-known celebrities like Paris Hilton and Jhene Aiko are some of the victims who lost their homes in the fire.

“Me and my children’s home is gone, burned to the ground with all of our things inside. Lord have mercy. Thankful we still have each other. Starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy,” Aiko wrote on her Instagram.

She also sent words of encouragement to other victims of the fire.

“Praying for everyone this morning. Those who lost their homes. Those who lost their life’s work, and those who lost their lives.

“Praying for my city. Praying for the wildlife and lost pets. Praying for the world. Let suffering be a gift, a lesson in compassion,” wrote the “Sativa” hitmaker.

Her father Dr Karamo Chilombo sent her sweet messages, encouraging her and the children to stay strong and safe during these tough times.

“Baby Queen Daughter, I am devastated by what happened to you and countless others because I know how hard you have worked to bring love and peace to others with your caring and sharing heart through your words, deeds and actions for humanity.

“How you have saved so many lives and given hope and comfort to millions of people throughout the world. It just seems so unfair that you like so many others has to endure this tremendous loss.

“Daddy and mommy share your loss and we love you most dearly and thank you for being the most precious human gift you are not only to this planet but the Universoul. Everyone, please pray for LA country, please, please, please.”

On the other hand, Hilton learned about her home’s situation via the news. She was watching TV when she spotted her Malibu home as one of the houses affected by the fire.

“Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burned to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.

“This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” she wrote.
