The buzz surrounding the Monaco Grand Prix and Dua Lipa’s Italian wedding was impossible to ignore.
However, the real epicentre of activity was France. To witness a true display of billionaire wealth, one only had to look at the rows of Maseratis and supercars in the parking areas, or the superyachts lining the docks.
Regarded as the crowning glory of Formula 1, this weekend spectacle is a major attraction for royalty, high-net-worth individuals and celebrities.
Naturally, all attention was fixed on seven-time F1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton. After securing a second-place finish, he appeared completely enamoured with his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, who was there to offer her support.
SA personalities were in attendance, too. “Blood & Water” star Ama Qamata was among the notable faces, and she clearly lapped up the hype first-hand.
On her Instagram, she wrote: “My first Formula 1 race!! Monaco did not disappoint, an incredible weekend from start to finish. Thank you, @audif1, for the amazing hospitality and for making it such a memorable experience. 💐🏁🇮🇩❤️.”
She shared a post with several images and a video of her highlights from the event.
Before this, she had been in London, where she took the time to immerse herself in the city's distinctive atmosphere.
She posted: "Actress off duty🤭🇬🇧✨London at its best … slow mornings, beautiful corners, and a stay that made the trip even more special. @thedorchester thank you for the warm hospitality❤️."
Meanwhile, renowned Grammy-winning producer and DJ Black Coffee delivered a high-octane performance at the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix of Monaco 2026, as DJ Shimza showcased his talent during the exclusive Ultimate SuperYacht event hosted by Tom Claeren.
Nomzamo Mbatha and her siblings, Wendy, Zamani and Siyanda, were also spotted sauntering around. The acclaimed actress and producer, now a prominent figure in Hollywood, engaged in an uplifting dialogue with Jason Arthur, the founding CEO of Sir Lewis Hamilton's charity, Mission 44.
Their conversation centred on global youth empowerment and social impact, highlighting the vital need to build accessible pathways and opportunities for the next generation.
Mihlali Ndamase was also in town, soaking up the opulence of the yachting scene during the celebrations.
