Johannesburg - Clico Restaurant in Rosebank is celebrating autumn with delectable menu choices and wine pairings to create an unforgettable occasion, orchestrated by Gert Nel, head chef, and his creative team.
Banting and all dietary requirements are catered for.
The Easter 4-course menu with wine pairing includes:
l Caramelised onion and blue cheese tarts with tomato chutney – paired with Newton Johnson Chardonnay;
l Chilli salt squid with nuoc cham – Waterford pecan stream chenin blanc;
l Tandoori yellowtail with spinach and cumin dhal, cucumber relish and lemon froth – Neethlingshof Gewürztraminer;
l Herb-crusted roast rack of lamb with aubergine puree roasted garlic, sage and red wine jus – Creation Syrah;
l Muscat crème Brule with plum ice cream – Newton Johnson L’illa; and
l Chocolate landscape with vanilla air – Lynx Viognier 2014.
Easter children’s menu are also available. The Clico Restaurant was launched in October last year, comprising a newly built restaurant, a refurbished kitchen as well as a guest parking area.
The refreshing design changes complement the chic hospitality, intimate function facilities and delicious dining as well as delectable wine-tasting events on offer and favoured by regular guests year in and year out.
