'Black-ish' star and comedian Deon Cole gave Cape Town a memorable shout-out.

Deon Cole clearly had a memorable time in Cape Town, but it seems that the comedian’s biggest takeaway from his South African visit was not just the mountains, beaches or famous sunsets.
The "Black-ish" star and comedian, who was reportedly in the Mother City while shooting a production, gave Cape Town a very enthusiastic shout-out during a recent appearance, although his review took a very specific direction.
“Shout out to Cape Town,” Cole said with excitement before turning his attention to the beauty he noticed around him.
“Even the animals got a** in this m***** f*****,” he joked.
Excuse the language brothers and sisters, but we are simply reporting what was said.
Cole continued explaining his surprise at what he had seen, adding that there was “so much a** down there” and joking that even the birds were flying lower because of the “gorgeous shaped bottoms” he had spotted.
“There’s a lot of a** in Africa,” he added. “It is amazing down there. Damn, I need to go back down there.”
Naturally, the comments section did what the comments section does best: laughed, agreed and reminded him that he had only scratched the surface.
One viewer wrote: “We know brother. You just gotta stay focused down there.”
Another added: “You haven’t been to Durban.”
Because if there is one thing South Africans know, it is that our beauty does not come in one shape, size or style. From Cape Town to Durban, Johannesburg to the coastlines in between, South Africa is home to women with different cultures, backgrounds, body types and unique features.
Yes, Cole noticed the curves, but the beauty of Mzansi has always been about much more than that.
It is the confidence, the personalities, the fashion, the humour and the way South Africans can walk into a room and bring their own energy with them.
South African women have been celebrated globally for years, so when visitors arrive and suddenly discover the beauty of Mzansi, locals are usually left thinking: “Welcome. We’ve been aware.”
Cape Town may have impressed Cole, but we are guessing Table Mountain and the ocean views also deserve a little credit. After all, the Mother City does not only serve scenery. She knows how to make an entrance.
