The owner elaborates in their post: “We were getting ready for a trip - just the usual chaos: folding clothes, stuffing bags, checking lists twice. And then … I looked over and saw her. Our dog. Sitting next to her little pile of things."
"Her favourite toy. Her blanket. One (yes, just one) sock she somehow decided was important. A half-chewed bone. And the tiniest backpack you’ve ever seen, like she really thought she needed to be packed and ready too. 😭🐾”
As the owner reflects on the scene, they ponder how the dog seemed to know something was amiss.
“Maybe it was the suitcases. Maybe the energy in the house changed. Or maybe she just has a sixth sense about not wanting to be left behind. But there she was, trying to say, ‘Don’t forget me. I want to come too.’ 😭💔”
Their unconditional bond with their furry friend was clear when they added, “Of course she’s coming. She’s always coming. She’s family. Wherever we go, she goes. No question.”
