A 13-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after he allegedly fell from the second storey of a school building earlier today.

Garrith Jamieson, the spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, said they responded to a call for assistance at a high school in Chatsworth.

“We were informed that a boy had fallen from a height. Paramedics arrived on the scene and were shown to a male, who was found to be in pain. It is alleged that the boy fell from a height of two storeys. He sustained moderate injuries.

"The boy was stabilised on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care he required. At this stage, the events leading up to the incident are unknown. However, all the necessary authorities were in attendance and will be investigating further,” he said.
