CHATSWORTH double murder accused, Wasim Kudoos, who was charged for the execution-style murders of his gardener and a barber, appeared in the Durban Regional Court on Tuesday.
Kudoos, 33, a SARS tax consultant, is alleged to have shot and killed a barber, Mahmudel Sajid, 38, at his salon in Bayview on October 8, 2025.
He then returned to his home in Mobeni Heights, where he allegedly shot and killed his gardener, Mzikayise Paulos Mabida, 54, on the driveway of his home.
Both men were shot in the head.
Kudoos was arrested on the same day, and he has been denied bail since his arrest.

In June, the case was transferred from the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court to the Durban Magistrate’s Court.
On Tuesday, Magistrate Jadene Fitz Gerald set a pre-trial date for the end of the month.
During his bail application in Chatsworth, Kudoos, through his legal representatives, told the court that he could not remember much of the circumstances surrounding the shooting or resisting arrest.
The State had called for a local district surgeon to examine him, and the district surgeon gave a report that he was fit to stand trial and answer to the charges facing him.
