Johannesburg - It appears like former artist manager Nhlamulo 'Nota' Baloyi has something to say about everyone in the entertainment industry, and will not rest until he lets it all out.
In the past few months he has been on the radar for targeting influencers, local artists, well-known personalities as well as politicians.
Baloyi has on many occasions landed in hot water for his sentiments and as a result, he has been slapped with a lawsuit.
The controversial artist manager, who is popular for speaking his mind, unapologetically fired shots at musician and entrepreneur Cassper Nyovest, describing his music as “two-minute noodles music”.
Baloyi visited a podcast called ‘The Penuel Show’ where he was giving compliments to the much celebrated music artist Kwesta, after deciding to go off on a tangent mentioning Nyovest.
“The music that was created that time so that it is not Cassper Nyovest two-minute noodles music. It is classic music. Even 10 years from now, Kwesta music will still rock, the entire household generationally. We have created generational classics,” he said.
A week ago, he was also embroiled in an altercation with Kaya 959 radio host Sol Phenduka after eliciting a heated argument where he told Sol to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.
Their brawl happens a few months after Baloyi was reprimanded by his estranged wife, Afro-soul singer Berita for taking their private business to social media platforms.
The singer alleged that he needs mental intervention.
She further spoke about the bullying and disgrace she faced publicly and privately, claiming it has been painful.
“This man's irrational behaviour is beyond me. I am a very reasonable person. I will be the first to admit it. I missed very big red flags. The day I decided to leave my marriage Is the day I had to choose. Between being married and being alive.
“My one request is that Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi needs help with his mental health. I tried my best whilst in his life. I tried to also plead with his family about this. He is a really good man. Sometimes he means well. He needs help,“ wrote Berita.
