Award-winning TV and radio presenter Lerato Kganyago has revealed the progress of her husband’s mall in Pretoria.

In December, Kganyago revealed that her businessman husband Thami Ndlala had expanded his portfolio by acquiring a mall. At the time she did not reveal the name of the mall her husband had acquired but now has revealed details about the big acquisition.

Kganyago shared an image of Ndlala Mall on her Instagram stories, which used to be Sterland Mall in Arcadia, Pretoria.

Sterland was refurbished in 2012 and R53 million was spent to change Sterland into the ultimate leisure and entertainment destination in the central Pretoria area.

“The mall is nearing completion, with exciting additions on the way, including new restaurants, a barbershop, a hair extension store, residential apartments, and a nightclub. We are looking forward to these developments.”

The Metro FM presenter went on to confirm that the mall will be adding a gym, conference centre, and an arena. “Additionally the cinema will remain in place. We have exciting changes on the horizon.”

The mall has certainly gotten social media users talking about Kganyago’s husband’s latest purchase with some debating whether it is a mall or a shopping centre. While others are wondering why the name changed, couldn’t he purchase it without renaming it?

This isn’t the first time the couple has gotten people talking about their big luxury purchases, in 2022 on Valentine's Day they were the talk of the town after acquiring their hotel and restaurant - 12 on Hillel Villa and Spa.

“Ladies and Gents I introduce to you my new baby, @12onhillel naming the restaurant AMOR meaning Lerato, Thando, Love. You’re all welcome,” she shared at the time.
