Proteas win toss and bat first against Bangladesh, Temba Bavuma still out as Aiden Markram skippers again

South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first in their Cricket World Cup match against Bangladesh in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Aiden Markram will lead the Proteas again with regular captain Temba Bavuma still not recovered from illness.

Meanwhile, Lungi Ngidi was ruled out with a knee problem as Lizaad Williams came into the team.

For Bangladesh, captain Shakib Al Hasan makes a return to fitness to lead the team as Towhid Hridoy missed out.
