Dear Readers,

As we step into a new year, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families. May 2026 be a year of growth, resilience, and financial empowerment.

We are especially excited about the upcoming 30th Raging Bull Awards, which will be held at the CTICC on February 13. This milestone event continues to celebrate excellence in the investment industry, and we are pleased that Iress and Apex will once again be our trusted data providers. Their continued support ensures the integrity and prestige of these awards.

Reflecting on last year, our Breaking Barriers: Building a Financially Inclusive South Africa event was a resounding success, sparking important conversations about access and inclusion. Building on that momentum, this year we will host another event, this time focusing on teaching children about finances. We believe that instilling financial literacy at a young age is one of the most powerful ways to shape a more secure future for our country. More details will be shared later this month.

In addition, we are working on an exciting partnership that will give our readers the chance to win financial literacy courses. This initiative will be communicated later this year, and we look forward to empowering you with practical tools to strengthen your financial journey.

At Personal Finance, our mission remains clear: to provide you with trusted insights, relatable stories, and practical guidance that help you make informed decisions. Thank you for being part of our community. We look forward to another year of learning, sharing, and celebrating milestones together.

Warm regards,

Dieketseng Maleke
