The incident happened on Monday, at around midnight at Tshidzini.

On Wednesday, IOL reported that police in Limpopo have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with “a violent robbery” that took place in Hlogotlou, where a couple was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.

Thakeng said the robbery happened in January last year.

“The arrest follows an intensive investigation into the incident, where a couple was ambushed and robbed of a substantial amount of cash. On Friday (last week), at approximately 10pm, members of the Limpopo provincial investigation unit received intelligence regarding the whereabouts of one of the long-sought suspects involved in the robbery,” said Thakeng.
