Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has announced that he has cut ties with his fashion brand, Drew House.

The multi award-winning singer shared on April 10 on his now deleted Instagram stories that he no longer wants to be affiliated with the street-wear brand.

“I, Justin Bieber, am no longer involved in this brand. Drew House does not represent me, my family, or my life,” the 31-year-old wrote.

He added that his followers should stop buying products from the brand: “If you're rocking with me, the human Justin Bieber, don't waste your money on Drew House.”

Even though he shared that he is no longer affiliated with the Drew House, Bieber has not yet given an official statement stating why he has cut ties with the streetwear brand.

Bieber co-founded Drew House in 2018 and, in January 2019, he launched the brand with his former stylist, Ryan Good, with the brand’s naming coming from Bieber’s middle name, Drew.

The brand was popularly known for its yellow smiley-face logos, and its collection consisted of unisex hoodies, T-shirts, tracksuits, and slides.

Before announcing that he has left Drew House, Bieber has been promoting a new brand called Skylrk.

The father of one has been spotting the new brand for a while and giving fans a sneak peek of what items Skylrk has.

The new brand seems to consist of unisex hoodies, phone cases, sunglasses, slides, trainers and tracksuits.

It appears that Bieber has teamed up with footwear designer Finn Rush-Taylor.

Rush-Taylor is an experienced designer who has worked with multiple brands such as Puma, Adidas, The Footsoldiers, Vivobarefoot and Crocs.

He also has also established his own consultancy agency which aims to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds as he shared during an interview with “Stornoway Gazette”.

Bieber hinted on April 1 that he is working on something via an Instagram post with a picture of him and Rush-Taylor which he captioned, “Damn me and this fool Finn cooking.”

Rush-Taylor commented: “They ain’t ready broski.”
