The 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards took place on March 29 at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, celebrating the outstanding achievements of women in the music industry.

Hosted by Laverne Cox, the event honoured a diverse group of artists, recognising their contributions and impact over the past year.

With so many remarkable women in attendance, the red carpet was a spectacle of fashion and style.

South African sensation Tyla, recipient of the prestigious Impact Award for her profound influence on the global music scene, was stunning in a striking Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown.

The ensemble, crafted from string and mesh, featured a high neckline and an intricate webbed train.

She completed her bold look with neon yellow nails and a messy updo, showcasing her signature style.

Rapper Doechii, named Woman of the Year, opted for a daring sheer gown from DKNY’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection.

The dress, adorned with velvety panels, left little to the imagination, with a thigh-high slit accentuating the bold design.

Jennie of BLACKPINK, honoured with the Global Force Award, stepped onto the red carpet in a sleek, deep-red figure-hugging dress by Zuhair Murad.

She kept her look minimalistic, pairing the elegant dress with black platform heels.

Tina Knowles, awarded Mother of the Year, graced the event in a stunning floor-length black gown by Yanina Couture.

The off-the-shoulder, long-sleeved dress featured a sheer panel across the bodice, adding a touch of sophistication to her ensemble.

Music Icon Award recipient Erykah Badu made a statement with her bold fashion choices.

She arrived on the red carpet sporting a fiery red short wig and towering black platform boots.

However, she truly surprised the audience when she took the stage in an unconventional costume, which appeared to satirize BBL surgery, leaving attendees in awe.
