KZN Philharmonic resident conductor Chad Hendricks and Durban singer Shelley McLean Downham get in the mood for love as they lead the orchestra in a special Valentine's Day Concert at Camp Orchards in Hillcrest on Friday evening.
Two lucky readers can join them as the sun sets (6.30pm) for an enchanting evening of classical and popular music that includes The Barber of Seville Overture, Dolly Parton’s I will always love you, Moon River and the love theme from Love Story.
The Harvest at Camp Orchards has two different dining options. One can enjoy a meal on the veranda after the concert (limited to 80 people) or alternatively, pre book a picnic to enjoy on their lawns before the concert.

This concert heralds the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2025 Summer Season which runs in The Playhouse Opera on Thursday 20 and again on 27 February starting at 7pm.
