The organisers of the anticipated Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs game have announced an exciting lineup of performers to elevate the Soweto Derby experience, featuring DBN Gogo, Muzi, and Stopper.
These talented artists are set to take the stage before the big match, hyping up the crowd and setting the tone for an unforgettable and energetic experience.
With DBN Gogo serving log drums and Muzi showcasing his genre-bending style and energetic performance, they are sure to get the fans pumped up and ready for the action on the field.
According to the organisers, the pre-game early arrival beer garden is to encourage fans to arrive early ahead of the game and is exclusively for ticket holders.
The beer garden promises to be a celebration of football, music, and togetherness while offering a fun and festive atmosphere for all the match-goers.
“We are proud to partner with Carling Black Label to create an experience that brings fans together before one of the biggest fixtures of the year,” says Bertie Grobbelaar, CEO of Stadium Management South Africa (SMSA).
“By encouraging spectators to arrive early, we aim to reduce congestion on the roads and ease access into the stadium, making match day safer and more enjoyable for everyone,” he adds.
The Soweto Derby, one of the most iconic and biggest sporting matches in Mzansi, takes place this Saturday. Performances kickoff at 12.15pm and conclude at 2.30pm, ensuring that attendees have enough time to find their seats.
