South African media personality Minnie Dlamini is overflowing with gratitude for the legendary Lebo M after attending the star-studded “Mufasa: The Lion King” premiere in Los Angeles.

The producer joined fellow Mzansi stars at the glitzy event, rubbing shoulders with international talents and showcasing her proud South African spirit.

Dlamini took to Instagram to shower Lebo M with appreciation, sharing photos from the event and penning a sincere message to the iconic composer and producer.

Her caption celebrated not only the breathtaking new movie but also the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work alongside the man who has been a vital part of “The Lion King” legacy.

“To the Legend himself @thereallebo_m Thank You for trusting me with your journey,” Dlamini wrote.

“Not only did you make my childhood dreams come true by letting me share your light at the #Mufasa LA Premiere, but getting to work with you as a producer documenting your life and journey is such an honour 🙏🏾 Thank you Mr M for believing in me.”

Lebo M, often called “the voice and spirit of The Lion King,” has been central to the franchise’s magic since the original 1994 animated film.

His unmistakable Zulu chant that opens “Circle of Life” is an unforgettable part of many childhoods — Dlamini’s included.

Working with Hans Zimmer, Lebo M co-produced the film’s music, infusing it with authentic African rhythms and choral arrangements.

Additionally, Lebo M was instrumental in adapting the movie’s music for the Broadway stage, creating additional pieces that solidified “The Lion King” as a global phenomenon.

His contributions have not only celebrated African culture but also showcased its beauty on an international scale.

Dlamini, clearly inspired by this legacy, continued her post with high praise for the new film: “Mufasa is absolutely STUNNING!!! Our SA stars stole the show 🇿🇦😭 it’s a must-see!!! The cast, the music, the story, Africa Stand Up!!! We have a new film for our kids to love just like the impact the original film had on us.”

Dlamini also shared snaps of herself alongside international stars like Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing, American model and socialite Jordyn Woods and her sister, actor and comedian Seth Rogen, as well as several Mzansi favourites.
