Davido and Chioma's luxurious Miami white wedding celebration

Afrobeats superstar Davido held his white wedding celebration to Chioma over the weekend in Miami and it was a luxury celebration.

This highly anticipated white wedding comes after the couple’s traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 and a court wedding in March 2023.

Chivido trended across social media as moments from the couple’s celebrations were shared by their guests who included, American gospel star Kirk Franklin, Nigerian musician Zlatan and Adekunle Gold, Teni, Zlatan Ibile, D’banj and their wives.

The award-winning musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, gifted his wife a factory iced out Richard Millie wrist watch worth $300,000 (R5,335,695.00) as a wedding gift.

Davido for his first outfit had cuff links that had the picture of their late son Ifeanyi Adeleke. During the ceremony, the couple exchanged vows, professing their love in front of their loved ones.

“You’re my love, you’re my best friend, you’re my calm in my storm. Nobody knows or loves us like we do. I want you to know that today I am holding your hands, and I am going to walk with you forever,” said Chioma.

Davido, who has previously released music dedicated to Chioma, professed how his wife was his home and how he was nervous.

“Chioma, I have been on many stages, but this is the most nervous I have ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home. You came into my life quietly and became the loudest and most beautiful part of it. You saw the real me, the me the world doesn’t see and you still choose me.”
