Still rare, still radiant: Selena Gomez celebrates 33 with grace and gratitude

American actress and singer Selena Gomez shared a heartfelt Instagram post and tribute before her birthday.

Gomez, whose birthday is on July 22, recently took to Instagram as she shared a glimpse of her pre-birthday celebrations with her best friend, Taylor Swift and fiancé, Benny Blanco.

Gomez wrote: “As I prepare to celebrate my 33rd birthday, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here. This past year has truly been the most beautiful year of my life, and I owe so much of that to all of you.”

She added, “Thank you for your unwavering love and kindness. Whether you cheered me on from the sidelines, shared in my highs and lows, or simply offered a listening ear, you have made this year unforgettable. I am extremely humbled and insanely appreciative of all your love.”

She further shared that she looks forward to what is in store for her in the future and to creating joyful moments with her loved ones.

The carousel pictures showcased what appeared to be a “fun night out”, and in one of the pictures, Swift and Gomez posed for a sweet snap with silver and gold balloons in the background.

Gomez and Swift have been friends for over 16 years, and in an interview with “WSJ Magazine” in 2020, Gomez gave a heart-warming glimpse of her friendship with Swift.

“There’s so much of my friendship with Swift that people don’t know about because we don’t necessarily feel the need to post about everything we do. She has showed up for me in ways that I would have never expected,” the “Heart Wants What It Wants” singer revealed.

The actress also shared pictures of herself and Blanco kissing amidst the birthday celebration.

The singer and music producer have been showcasing and sharing a glimpse of their love story on social media since they officially announced their relationship.

The pair even collaborated on Gomez’s 2025 album titled “I Said I Love You First”.
