“Skeem Saam” actress Amanda Manku embraces a new chapter as she ecstatically reveals that she is expecting her second child.

The actress shared on her social media platforms on July 9 that her family is growing as she shared heart-warming pregnancy photoshoot pictures, posing with her husband, Roger Tau and their first child.

The carousel shows Manku and her husband wearing matching black and white outfits, with the actress wearing a tiara that says “Mom To Be”.

The 33-year-old captioned her post: “An answered prayer. An addition to my family. Most people know the heartbreaking tragedy that happened in my life, the past years being a blur at times kodwa (but), at the end of it all, God showed me grace.

Kumnyama kodwa wathi ‘Ngikhona mtanam, lisakhanya (It was dark but God showed me that He is there for me and there is light), worry not,” she continued.

She added that her pregnancy marks the beginning of a new chapter for her and her family.

The comment section was buzzing with joy and excitement as friends, family and fans celebrated the actress’s newest addition to her family.

Fellow actress Inno Sadiki commented: “Oh, mommy, congratulations. See what the Lord has done.”

“Congratulations, Mama,” Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson said.

While sports anchor, Itumeleng Banda added: “Oh my goodness!! Congratulations sesi.”

Manku is affectionately known for her character as Elizabeth Thobakgale or Lizzy on the popular SABC1 telenovela “Skeem Saam” and is also a sports presenter and has worked for Supersport.

The actress joins the pregnancy wave that has hit celebville as many local celebrities have eagerly announced their pregnancy news to the public this year, including Sivenathi Mabuya, Demi-Leigh Tebow, J’Something and Coco, Bontle Modiselle, Rosemary Zimu, Khanyi Jaceni, Marise Pollard, as well as Anlia Etzebeth.
